Before you travel<\/strong><\/p>\n

Prior to relocating, you\u2019ll need to decide the best method of transportation to get to your new home.\u00a0 While travelling by car is thought to be the less stressful method for relocating birds, many airlines will accept birds, this makes the journey much faster with less handling and reduced stress for the bird.<\/p>\n

Firstly, you\u2019ll want to schedule an appointment with your veterinarian to perform a health check on your bird to ensure they are fit to fly (no pun intended).\u00a0 We\u2019ll work with you to ensure your bird has the proper permits and records (if required) to enter their new home country.<\/p>\n

on. You can also use curtains to help keep temperatures down in your home by blocking out
the sun. Another way to keep your pet cool is to groom them accordingly. Speak with your

Consider your travel options
Before even moving to your new city, you need to consider the best route and method of
transportation for getting there. This will be highly dependent on your pet\u2019s breed. For
